Another great artist known in the skateboard industry is Dennis Mcnett.  His use of small line detail is truly amazing and beautiful.  His depictions of animals and humans in their various temperaments is a motif throughout his great art work.

N8rART

Local art was viewed from the artist Nate Pitcher.  He lives in Oceanside, CA and is a practicing professional tattoo artist.  The art was viewed online March 20, 2011 on his MySpace account entitled "n8rart"at http://www.myspace.com/n8rart/photos.  He offers a very stylistic form of drawing and paint that is influenced both by fine arts and Asian arts. His unique style is a hybridization of ancient Asian art forms and modern classic tattoos.  Bold colors and lines create a vivid image of clarity.  His improvisation in this piece reflects surrealism art such as Dali, the women in this picture is a reflection of the physiological world and not that of realism.  This painting measures over 4 feet by 4 feet and with vibrant colors and actions.  One of my favorite parts of this painting is the geometric shape amongst the jungle that the panther is stepping on; a manifestation of the mind in its surroundings.
